Crackly bass sounds on Genesis emulation Pi 2
Thanks for the reply - very helpful indeed. Seems like if there is any cpu processing deficit, the sound is the first to go.

Possible to have multiple instances of a game and/or change Game titles?
Just wondering - is there a master DB where it pulls the information for the new ROMs you install? When I edit the data using the web interface it seems to get overwritten when I add new roms.

Xin-mo and TP Link W725N - Can I have both?
No probs! I'm really happy with the performance of my setup with the Pi 2. I was using a PI 1B and sound was very choppy on SF2 but now it's perfect! Very pleased

Xin-mo and TP Link W725N - Can I have both?
Ok - so my conclusion is that unless you are running a standard Raspbian distro, you can't get the TP Link W725N to work - as will be the case if you need to recompile the Kernel or use a custom kernel to get the Xin-mo to work. So I shelled o…

Upgrading to PI Version 2B
Thanks - if I do as you suggest - would that mean I would have to reapply the kernel patch for the Xin-Mo?

Upgrading to PI Version 2B
I'm thinking that I'd like to start from scratch with the new PiPlay image. Does anyone know if the Xin-Mo fixes are built in to the image or if this needs to be done separately?

Mono audio
Thanks guys - you're right - one channel of my amplifier appears to be borked. Considering most games seem to be mono, I suppose I could drive both speakers from the same signal? Any issues with that?

Xin Mo and Manual Pi-Mame install
Ah... yes I am... bought one especially for the TPLink in fact! Apparently there are two versions of the TPLink adapter, V1 which works out of the box and V2 which needs a module complied for the version of Raspbian being used. For the regular rasp…

Xin Mo and Manual Pi-Mame install
Thanks for that Conno. I'm using the Xin-mo dual 2 player controller which supports 22 buttons altogether. I understand that Mame4all has a max of 16 buttons per player. The problem sin my case seems to be that all the buttons are registering a…

I'm having the same problem with Mame4all... all buttons show up as Player 1 buttons #0 through 15 so I have 3 buttons in my setup which I can't use. @ID10T_Form: did you do anything special to get player 2 working? The 2 joysticks work fi…
