MAME - not listing ROMS ?
Hey nachito, Have you checked in the web frontend if the ROMs appear in the database? If not, that might be the reason. Have a look at the output of the scrapper if there is an issue with accessing the database file.

Hello Yuppicide, For your first question - I don't know the XArcade stick - but when it is emulating a keyboard, you'll get into trouble when a second keyboard is connected. It's simply not working. Try to prevent the Raspian Desktop…

MAME - not listing ROMS ?
Have you checked that the ROMS are uploaded in the right folder? Make sure your PiPlay is connected to the internet and give the ROM Scraper a go. Maybe it sorts things out.

Only a colored image
Have you tried a clean Wheezy Image to boot? If this works, I suggest you just install PiPlay via GitHub script. Did a fresh installation (with win32diskimager and recent PiPlay image) on a Pi2 just yesterday and it worked for me.

Mapping xin-mo arcade buttons to exit to pimame menu.
I think I didn't recognise the usage of a Xin Mo in the right way. Is it an Joystic/Controller chip that is used to build a Joystick, or is it a modified keyboard controller, that emulates the keys pressed? If it is recognised as Joystick/Contr…

Same ROM folder for Mame4All and AdvMAME?
C.L.R. Mame Pro sounds promising! Do you use it on the Pi or on your computer?

Mapping xin-mo arcade buttons to exit to pimame menu.
Hello Werner! I think you can try with physical cabling. If you wire the buttons you want to use in serial to the [esc]-key. But remember, that the emulator will recognize both buttons as pressed, too and will react to that!! This will work only fo…

In case you have a keyboard connected, press [TAB] in the overview, move to "Listing view: All" and toggle the option with [lCtrl] to "Listing: Available only" or "Listing: Available with no clones"

Thanks! This afternoon I found an old Hitachi 2x20 LCD display - and I know you can connect it to the Raspberry, but I wonder if there is a way to use this display together with MAME4all to show score/name of the game etc?
