I hade to set up my KADE speciel for it to work well for MAME. Also if you have a keyboard connect then the KADE will come in as second keyboard and MAME will not requnise it.

Can we map keys like [TAB] to a combination of buttons on Mame?
1. Yes in Mame get the config menu up by pressing TAB. Under general setting find the "Main Menu". press delete to delete the binding, then press enter and after that your key combo. 2. I can't help you there as I am only using Mame …

Thanks. I did find out after I read the scraper function. Just a problem I can get it to show any images. Have them in JPG and PNG but non are scraped and show up in the UI.

What games are expected to work?
What emulator are you trying to make this work on ? I use Mame4all and have 2000+ rom working fine on it.

NES ROMs don't load !
I just got some roms for the NES as well and got the same problem. started PI as normally. load up NES then Black screen, that it flashes on key input. If I exit NES then I still have the Black screen and flashing

What game do you play most on your bartop? Whats your age?
Solomons Key, Bomb Jack, Pacman, Galaxian, Bubble Bobble. My kids are 5, 16 and 22 they play most pacman and streetfighter. I am 45 my self

Ohhh and also if you have sound problem with the "-o hdmi" witch is sound true the HDMI connection. You can change it to "-o local" to give audio true the jack stick.

Sorry been a rough month, but now I have vacation. The Omxplay is started in /etc/init.d/ and you need to edit the file called asplashscreen. The line where to edit is 16.
