Resolution for large tv's
In the MAME emulators you can press TAB.... Here you can change the resolution. Some change the aspect, some change the clarity ;-)

Every PiPlay download link I try is taking around 12-19 hours to download ADSL 2. I did have it half downloaded then it stopped , corrupted and I had to start again. Googling other sites and downloads seem fine and quick.. Anyone else taking so long…

I can't access sudo startx at all now to change any settings.... when ESC is pressed, the "waiting for dubs address to appear" is continuous. I will reflash my card and try the update again.

I had a similar problem when I first downloaded Piplay 0.8.3 I had to re download the software twice and start again, from memory... I think I changed my SD card as well because I somehow managed to corrupt it.

@Fougal... i had the same problem with gameboy. http://pimame.org/forum/discussion/958/gameboy-gba-setup#Item_3 I think i got the bios from emuparadise.

maybe check the ground daisy chain on player two or change to a different ground pin on the xin-mo.... i am surprised that no buttons work at all.

That's great, I'm sure you are feeling stoked with that ;-) Do you mean player 2 is not working in the Piplay menu? (If so, I'm sure only player 1 is supposed to)..Have you tried to play a MAME game?

Nah that's cool, I didn't realise it had changed.. Thanks chad ;-) This was for the 8.0.3 version. The pins that worked were different with the 7.10, so I expect this will change again when the new version when it comes out.

SOLVED - Wifi problem with TP-LINK TL-W725N
You have to manually put your network name, password type (eg. WEP) and password in. It doesn't just see it.
