I got it fixed, I had to uncomment one more thing. I forgot what it was off the op of my head. I will post it tomorrow.

The error that I get on screen mentions "launchmenu.py". Is there something I need to adjust in that or in "config.yaml"?

I just had something weird happen. On the LCD VGA I tested it on it worked fine. On the CRT it crapped out again and gave the original error.

Found the answer in this other thread: http://pimame.org/forum/discussion/782/pimame-0-8-vga-blank-screen/p1 I needed to re-comment back the safe mode.
