sorry, but when i add that line, piplay menu won't start. i just get thrown back to terminal. did i miss anything in the code?

Display settings not recognized on cold boot.
Has anyone else experienced this? It's really annoying that I have to restart the system every time. Is there any way to automate the restart? Unless nobody has the answer to why I get wrong screen resolution when I cold boot, that is...

see the front end emulators instead of the list.
I couldn't get it to work either. Tried with snes & advmame but they ask for a specified rom. What should I put in the command line to load the front end?

Maybe this could help: http://hetgrotebos.org/wiki/uinput-mapper With this tool you can divide the joystick into two inputs. I'll have a look at it later this week and report back.

How to add items to the menu?
I only have one row of items on my menu screen. Below it i would like to add an image or a text file with instructions of how to use the arcade machine. If anyone can help me out with this i would appreciate it.

Thanks for the new update! However, it does not add 2 player support for Snes. At least not with the xin mo joystick... The kernel patch seems to be ok thou.
