If i try to do it the way you say i get the same message anyway. Also, can you tell me where the config file is so i can map the keys?

Thats the folder I used. It says I don't have permissions. I was able to get it with the command I typed above.

Used "sudo cp -filename- -dircetorypath-" to copy it from the advmame rom folder... it would be convenient if i could just drag and drop it.

Sound works, then doesnt
I have 4 games. Galaga works perfectly. SF2, Battle Toads, and Puzzle Bobble are the ones that give me trouble with the sound. One day puzzle bobble worked perfect, and one day SF2 started perfect and then messed up again. I plan to update my pimam…

I can't seem to find roms for any particular version of mame. They just say Mame. Do you know a website I can go to to look for them? Also I have a converter program, but I haven't figured out how to use it yet...
