I also run both AdvMame and MAMME4all both now accessed from a single AdvMenu install flicking between the lists using F6. All works really well, I also I have different ROM sets for each.

I guess there must be a risk, but I've never had any corruption (not as I know), I do keep a image backup of the SD card, just in case things go wrong. I do occasionaly issue the shutdown command but very rearly.

[SOLVED] Advance Menu Slowness
I have over 300 ROMs and the menu selection is nice and smooth on version 0.5 but slows to a crawl on version 0.6. It may be related to the number of ROMs but doesn't explain why version 0.5 was quicker, is it related to how it was compiled?

I also get lag when selecting games within AdvMenu (the one included with version 0.6) In the end I reverted back to the previous version 0.5, keeping advmame from 0.6
