mame questions
each game (rom) for mame consists of several files that are all inside of a zip archive. Just put the whole archive in there, Mame will handle it. You don't need to unzip any files or folders.

yeah, I've been trying to figure out what is going on. I'm guessing that it it a permissions thing. How about you try this: sudo cp ~/retrogame/retrogame.c.save ~/retrogame/retrogame.c make retrogame

Your changes to retrogame weren't saved if it says retrogame is up to date. Otherwise it would list build components. Try 'sudo nano retrogame.c', make your changes again, save, then make retrogame.

nope. raspberry pi can't handle gamecube. If you grab a more powerful small computer, you can emulate cube though.

That would mean that the folder is write-protected. Exit to console, then type this:sudo chmod 777 /home/pi/pimame/pimame-menu/.cache/Then try re-running the scraper. it should be able to write to it now.

I definitely recommend a class 10 card. It speeds up piplay loading times a lot. I was originally using a class 4, and bumped it up to a class 10 and it was an amazing difference!
