I also manage a Vanilla 2 board, the only way to stop spam was installing Akismet & Stop Forum Spam plugins with both plugins working all spam is correctly tagged and blocked.

How to activate NEOGEO?
Just change the palette, using the ingame menu, it will be saved in your confing and remembered. I don't know any way to change the palette for every neogeo game using config.

I got my neogeo.zip from http://www.rom-world.com/dl.php?name=MAME&letter=N and got it working but on my 256 pi it is unplayable due to slowness :(
