PS2 USB adapter works GREAT..!

Hi guys
Just want to share this cheap little gem, http://dx.com/p/ps2-game-controller-to-pc-usb-converter-789 especially if you have couple of PS2 controllers lying around. Works beautifully with PiMAME, including PiFBA, PiSNES, and MAME4ALL, though you have to put the PS2 controller on analog mode (strange that the left button does not work on the digital mode).

Now my bartop PiMAME cabinet has 3 joysticks, the main one connected to GPIO and two additional ones with this PS2-USB adapter. http://pimame.org/forum/discussion/546/build-pimame-bartop-cabinet#Item_1

Quick question. Would this work as a mouse as well in Raspbian by using a joystick as a mouse?

when it boots, Raspbian recongnized this as Twin USB joystick automatically. By default I don't think it will work as a mouse, but you can try http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2029023 or here http://askubuntu.com/questions/114895/how-can-a-gamepad-control-the-mouse . Apparently there is a program that can make joystick to work as a mouse.
