PiPlay Requirements?

    Hello:

    I want to use the Raspberry Pi and PiPlay to replace my clunky power hungry tower I have in my arcade cabinet.

    What version of the Raspberry Pi do I need to purchase and any other recommendations?

    it will run on the pi1 A/B/A+/B+, but I really recommend the raspberry pi 2. It really has the extra oomph and is so much speedier.

    I see that there is a Pi3 out now. Will it work?

    Some people got it working with the Pi3 but I cannot, I guess I'm just doing something wrong but it is compatible.
    the Pi3 is so much faster than the Pi2 when using it as a computer so I assume it would do a better job with piplay as well.
