Xin-Mo And beta9

Hi evrybody and thanks for all ! Really!

I've been wainting for this beta9 but as everything workperfectly on my tv with gamepad when i try it in my cabinet with xinmo 2 player nothing work : i can't even moving into the piplay menu...

So my question is : is it my joystick or is it a known problem of the beta 9 ?

I'm very very good in electronic so be kind ... :)

And sorry for my english i'm french... nobody's perfect ^^

Hello:

I can move without problems in piplay menu, but, the joystick movement in games are very slow and second josyticks doesn't work. Buttoms work perfect.

If you're french and want a xinmo distro, giva a try to raspicade :)

Pi 1 or Pi 2?

@aauriarte ... mholgatem gave me this tip which fixed the lag.

you have to get this image and take the custom kernel stored in the temp directory of the pi user:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/raspicade/

then do this:
tar xzf custom_kernel.tar.gz
cd custom_kernel
sudo ./install.sh

This solution is provided by user ian57, so if you get stuck, you may have to ask him.

Yes my kernel is patched to fix the xinmo bug...

You can take the kernel directly from github https://github.com/ian57/Raspicade-configuration-files/tree/master/kernel without creating the sd from the raspi distro

wget https://github.com/ian57/Raspicade-configuration-files/raw/master/kernel/custom_kernel_1.20150407-1.tar.gz

tar xzf custom_kernel_1.20150407-1.tar.gz
cd custom_kernel_1.20150407-1
sudo ./install.sh
