Thanks. I'm confused on the list of Roms. How to use them and what format they need to be in. Every time I put my custom list of Roms on pyros it stops booting into the front end for instance. My list is just an export of my ROM directory followed by a comma and the word Mame. I put that info in the config list after the commands for shut down and media.
It seems to work with the stand alone front end but keeps the os version from booting fully.
The versions of Pyrharckade on Pyros is the last beta so it is possible that some probleme appered. please paste here the ROM_CONFIG_FILES or send me it by mail at guillaume@pyrharckade.io
Is in the ROM_CONFIG_FILES.csv the *,SYS and how many emu are you using ?
Hi, I left all the "*,sys" entries then pasted my "*,mame" entries. after. Only emulator is mame. If I wanted to put the latest pyrharckade on the pyros it shouldn't be a problem? I can send you my .csv after work today. Thanks again for being so patient.
I'm excited to try this. Nitrogen, keep us posted on your progress and if you wouldn't mind, can I send questions your way as I try? I'm having a bit of trouble following the steps with the language barrier. Thanks.
no prob' i'm here to try to explain everything about our project :) i don t use translate tools so my english is not the beter you can eared but if there is anything you don't understand ... say it i'll try to answer in the better way ! :)
so, I got pyros to boot by copying the text from the Vertical rom file on the site. It must not like the .csv file open office exports. But, do I have to manually edit the list of roms I want to use? I only want 4-way vertical & trackball vertical and not every one of those either. Maybe 50 games when i run through them all.
Hey download worked! but, the input doesn't register all the time when it comes to the arrow keys & it goes a little slow while cycling through the ROMs. however the video's seem to play fine. This is on an RPI using pyros. I can try running the latest front-end from GIT on piplay and see if that's any better. Also, how do I change Themes? If I rotate the RPI display in the config file will the frontend automatically rotate also? If not, where do I put the command to rotate the front end at boot time?
* Fulllscreen mode hide a big bug during the charging video * Display of doc when start Game selection * Audio Probleme * Display and speed problem in emu and Game Mode .
Evil dead. Nice. And while I know you are working this and there are more important things that need work, I hope romlist generation will be one of them. Or at least some logic that ignores missing Roms in a directory when using a downloaded list.
The thing is if the medias are not in your FE you can download it manualy and put it in the good place or used the get_media in sys or use the "z" or button 3 to download directly . But if i ignoere the information because you dont have the rom . You can't download anything.
The generation of ROM_CONFIG_FILES is one of the point we re working on . certainly a web interfaces on pyrharckade.io but not for right now .
In this version (only for the keyboard part) if conf file is not present it will launch you a small interface to configure all J1 and J2 buttons to key hack. This file will be used later in the next delivery to generate a configuration file for retropie in the raspberry pi. What we mean Pyros installed you launched first time and it configures for all emu :)
In the next version a simpler tools that ROM_CONFIG_FILES.csv file that will be created and updated online. These games will be highlighted in a color and those in downloading other ...
