New Guy stuck trying to upload roms. Begging for help.

So maybe I am mentally challenged,but I can't figure out how to get roms from my pc to piplay. Is there a way to do this without going online? I can't seem to find a good/simple tutorial for newer versions of piplay.

ftp or the built-in uploader. Otherwise, you can load them to a [thumb/hard] drive and then either transfer them, or change the default rom locations to point to your external drive

Thanks. How would I transfer them from the thumb drive and where to?

Start Piplay,
Click on Exit
then type
startx
this will load up a desktop screen
at the bottom left click on "File manager" icon
from here go to
/home/pi/pimame/roms
you can now plug in your usb drive & copy the roms to the folder
