[Solved] How to put piplay-0.8-beta5 on a Micro SD card?
  • Hey Everyone,

I've been scouring the web for some time now trying to figure out how to put the latest version of piplay on my formatted MS-DOS 16 GB (Class 10) Micro SD card. I have surprising been unsuccessful in every attempt so far. I was able to get PiMAME to work but when I updated a few days ago, I could only go to PiMAME 0.7.0 and not to the latest beta. Do I need to get NOOBS or Raspbian to start off with and perform a download within that OS to finally extract the latest beta?

Please help and show some NOOB pitty!
  • you can download the img file here http://sourceforge.net/projects/pimame/files/?source=navbar

then use this program to copy it over to your sd card http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
  • First, you need to format the sd card properly. Use this.
  • Thank you both for the quick responses!

I will try and redownload the beta file, as I may have been working with a corrupted file this entire time. I am able to do other distros, just not the latest beta. Let me redownload, and I will get back with a result.
  • Yes, I have been working with a corrupt file this whole time. -_-

tearexairz and mholgatem again, I appreciate the responses and links to the software!

Hopefully someone else gets use of this!
