PIFBA Screen resizing and manually enter Nes controls

I'm using a old sanyo crt for my pimame but all the FBA games are just a little to big on screen. I can't see the edges. So can it be resized? Also, I need to know how to manually enter nes controls as well. Thanks.

If you go to home/pi/.fceux there is a fceux.cfg file open that up scroll down to gamepad0 or whatever controller you want and map it to the buttons. However I'm a bit of a noob and can't figure out how to set the directional buttons on my controller if you figure it out please let me know.
