I'm trying to remap the keys in Avancemenu, but it seems like no matter what I do, it is just ignoring the settings in advmenu.rc.

I know it's reading some of the changes I made, because it's responding to my joystick (which is inexplicably disabled by default), but any recent changes I've made are not being implemented.

Any ideas?

Edit: never mind, I figured it out.

For some reason, Advmenu will ingnore changes made to advmenu.rc that were not made using the Pi.
I was initially editing on the Pi, but I ended up taking the sd card out and editing the file on my laptop, which is when the changes stopped taking effect.

I did it this way because it was a pain trying to balance a keyboard on my arcade cabinet once I had the joysticks installed!

I made the permissions completely open, but I guess Advmenu still didn't like it.
