PS3 controller

Has anyone had any luck using ps3 controller through usb I do not have a Bluetooth dongle. I've tried a couple of tutorials that use sixad but never works right. I will evwntually get arcade sticks but just for testing in meantime. Thanks ahead of time.

I managed to get a couple of these working via USB, they work well but do need configuring for some of the emulators via the controller set-up in 0.8beta5

press tab or button 3 on the controller in the menu, it will activate the popup menu. Select controller setup and then select which emulator to setup
