Managed to compile DGEN and install it this morning. It's working though not great on performance.

I'm looking for a way to have dgen display a list of roms to choose from, much like how mame4all works. Haven't quite worked that out yet.

Once that's done will look at tweaking performance.

If anyone has any experience with dgen please share!

Turns out dgen has no way to display list of roms.
Lucky advmenu will fill that role. Will post 'how to' once I get it sorted.
