jstest and calibration for usb interface

    Hi all

    I have bought a arcade button usb interface for my custom builde retro arcade machine. I am having great difficulty installing and calibrating the joysticks for pimame 0.8. does anyone know the commands to download and calibrate the drivers and or the joystick itself?

    Hi.

    I am finding joysticks and the RPi/Linux really difficult. I went down the GPIO route but would like to use USB so hopefully some one will help us!

    I have spent a lot of time looking at it, but never got everything working with all emulators.

    I had the joystick working with 0.7 but it wont work with 0.8. Raspberri site seems to be down at the moment so hopefully there will be some support soon.

    I sorted my problem by typing sudo apt-get install joystick and then sudo apt-get install jstest-gtk

    you can then check in the GUI if the joystick is working. I have gone back to pimame 0.71 as my joysticks wont work in 0.8
