NES emulator Issue

    So I've been trying to finish up my arcade machine for my school project but I'm having trouble getting the NES emulator to work. The error I'm getting is, device cartridge (cart name) failed: file not found. Which is weird since I'm selecting the rom from the menu.

    Make sure you are running the latest update. From the command line type:
    wget -O - http://pimame.org/update.sh | bash
    and hit enter to update.

    I am having the same issue. Using 0.7.10 and update didn't work SSilver2k2.

    did you extract the files from the .zip format?

    Usualy you dont need to extract roms, is it a Pimame requirement?
