arcade cabinet speakers

Im looking a purchasing these speakers for my arcade cabinet build

I believe I will need an amplifier that would be hooked up to the rpi's audio out, but im getting confused over the wattage etc.

Another option is for me to use some alpine car speakers which are 30watt rms 150watt peak 4ohms and i would need the same for these.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Honestly, if it were me, I would just grab a pair of cheap computer speakers and disassemble them. They will already have the 3.5mm jack and most have an adequate amp already built in.

How about some normal PC desktop speakers?

They are pretty cheap and have speakers/amp and PSU already.

Just unscrew the casing and resite speakers and circuit board in cabinet. You will also have a volume control.

thanks for the replys. just need some that will fit in the 4/5'' holes iv drilled. i suppose they dont need to fill it completely and some speaker covers can help with appearence...?!
