It's my first time here, and I just have a few questions.
Firstly, I have XBian v1.0B2 installed. I want to be able to launxh mame from either inside xbmc, or map a remote control button using lirc to launch PIMame. I installed PImame via the install script here:
Since Xbian is installed, xbmc launches at boot (I don't want to change this). So, is there a command line, or script that I can launch pimame into the game interface, and setup? The PImame web interface is working within the Xbian setup, and I am able to log into it, and upload roms. The only thing left is launching PImame setup/interface via commandline.
Yeah, I'm curious about that too. I'm not all that 'with it' when it comes to Debian so I've not had a lot of success trying to figure out the startup sequence of events to try to find out where the menu is being launched or how to comment out that intro movie. Startup-sequence. Why can't everything be more like the Amiga? ;)
I'm sure that it can be done, but you will probably have to edit some source files in xbmc and then compile. I would check with the xbmc forums. http://forum.xbmc.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=166
