Here is my bartop arcade im working on. friend of mine cut the wood for me. i assembled all the bits and now all i need is some edging tape and sick graphics (coming soon).
im new to linux and programming. a friend of mine told me about the pi so i decided to build an arcade machine.
More pics on the way, right after i get my graphics printed and mounted. As for a template... Kinda Sorta...i found some plans on http://bartoparcade.katorlegaz.com/ i liked one of his templates but the measurements were fuzzy, so a buddy of mine had me draw up the plans on graph paper and he modified accordingly. The melamine, Plexiglass and Dibond (Aluminum Composite) all came from the shop i work at, same with the graphics that will be produced.
If anybody wants my plans i can post them if needed.
i have a keyboard attached that i hide in the back of the cabinet. i might have it boot right into mame4all or PiFBA one day but not right now. im totally fine with the keyboard lol
This is what I use for my keyboard. It's a little slow if I have to type a lot (but in those cases I usually just ssh). But otherwise it's very handy. I can even use it as a player 3 controller in a pinch.
