have trouble in with roms in 0.8.0 beta 3

i am haveing trouble getting the roms to play ine version 0.8.0 beta 3 i hve tried to or three thing and it is still not working

So are the roms not listed in the menu? Or are they playing but giving an error?

theyare list and when i click or one it take me to the copmand line

It is an issue with the names having a space in them, or another invalid character. There is a fix described here: http://pimame.org/forum/discussion/965/invalid-rom-names#Item_6

I had the same problem, adding that fix did the trick for me.

I tried the fix and nothing happen I still get the same message
