How to activate NEOGEO?

Hi,

first of all: THX for this great software!
Everything is working fine!

Now I'm trying to get some neogeo games started like METAL SLUG.
But I can't find a working neogeo.zip to get the games sarted.

So, is it possible to get these games working with PiMAME?

I got my neogeo.zip from http://www.rom-world.com/dl.php?name=MAME&letter=N
and got it working but on my 256 pi it is unplayable due to slowness :(

I'm going to have a new PiMAME up soon that includes almost full speed NeoGeo emulation :) more info this week

I've tested, and i still have bad palette color.

any idea?

Just change the palette, using the ingame menu, it will be saved in your confing and remembered.
I don't know any way to change the palette for every neogeo game using config.

I will have a version of GNGeo in the next release of PiMAME, which seems to run a lot better than MAME does on NeoGeo games. The NeoGeo is my favorite arcade system btw. I used to have 3 of them at one point, and I still have a bunch of games and a consolized MVS system.
