PiFBA and Xin-Mo

Does anybody have 2 players running on this using the Xin-Mo?
I ran jstest and got all the keycodes. however it still refuses to accept joystick and buttons from P2.
It runs fine on mame4all.
is there a trick to editing pba2x.cfg?
i can try and post all code if needed. -
Another Question Regarding:
device_joystick auto to: device_joystick raw
My pi has this line set to auto, as i was following a tutorial online. would this be the cause?
