PiMAME 0.7.9 released!

PiMAME 0.7.9 has been released.

This version includes DGen, which is a Sega Genesis emulator. You can download the image or run the update script.

Great job! Any chance you can patch the kernel with this in future releases? http://ithink.ch/blog/2013/09/08/patching_the_linux_kernel_to_install_the_xin-mo_dual_arcade_driver_on_a_raspberry_pi.html I think a lot of your users have the Xin-Mo controller for arcade sticks.

I am still getting the following error on the NES console after I select a game:
No monitor clocks specification 'device_video_p/h/vclock'.

I also cannot find the roms directory for the new Sega genesis emulator.

I am doing the upgrade script - not a new image.

I went ahead and downloaded the new image and "rebuilt" my system.
Glad I took notes on what I did!

Just a suggestion, but maybe include the following scripts in the toolbox;
1. Use HDMI video and 3.5 audio jack for audio
2. Set Numlock on at bootup
3. Upgrade script for pimame

thex: i don't know what happened when I merged, but yeah, the genesis lines were all commented out. It should be fixed now if you run the update script.

Good thing I kept the original upgraded card!
The upgrade fixed Genesis, however the NES is still the same error.

The new image i created from 7.9 works perfectly!

Maybe I somehow corrupted it? No worries, the new image is working.
