Qanba Q1 Fightstick

    I am working on getting everything setup. Since 0.7 I have actually been successful in getting games loaded and running. I bought a Qanba Q1 that I would like to use with the different emulators, but I can't get it going in a single one.

    I used jstest on the stick and made a diagram of what number linux assigns the buttons, but I can't make it go up and down or anything. I have mainly worked on the snes9x.cfg file, and put the numbers where I thought they should be, but I can't even get the joystick to move up and down.

    Has anyone had any success with the Q1?

    I am using MAME4All since I have the 37b5 mames, but would also love to play snes, nes and GBA games eventually. I looked in the config file for m4a and couldn't figure out the joystick stuff.

    Does anyone have any links or advice?

    I got the buttons working! No luck with the stick though. If there are any options that are known to work well with multiple emulators under the pimame I would be open to suggestions. I am trying to get this going for a friend's kids so if other controllers are a better option I'm fine with that.

    bump...I dusted off the Pi to see if my joystick would work with a newer build. It's still not mapping right, and doesn't let me navigate the PiPlay home screen at all. It recognizes the button press when I'm in the controller config, but then nothing happens in game/menu. Here is the stick I have...

    It's pretty basic. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.
