PiPLAY on RPi model B

Hi everyone! I'm a noob, but I'm super excited about digging into this. I was just wondering if there's an update on how well PiPlay runs on the RPi B. I'm willing to upgrade to the Pi2 or 3, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. I plan on running mostly MAME/SNES/NES/GBOY on it. Also, how will it do with running the PSX emulator?
