2. Player doesnt work with keyboard

hi together,
i am using the current piplay 0.8.0 Beta 9 image with my raspberry 2.
Everything seems to be fine, but the second player only works with the psx emulator.
I can configure the buttons properly with the controller setup but in the game it doesnt work.
Maybe anyone out there has the same problem!?
Any help?

edit: I am playing with custom made buttons using the ipac2 controller, so my buttons are recognized as keyboard buttons
