GP-Wiz 40 USB - Problem

I have a GP-Wiz 40 MAX USB (http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=76_81&products_id=235) connected in Rapspberry Pi and PiMame. All the buttons work, but the directional (Up, Down, Left and Right) not.

I used the command sudo jstest / dev/input/js0 to test and of course the result was the same in AdvMame.

Is there any additional configuration to run all commands?

NOTE: everything works on Windows

I am experiencing the exact problem. For a few brief moments, I had the axes of P2 working, then it was gone. Most interested to hear if you come up with anything. . .I will do likewise.

I should have mentioned that my current path of thinking is that Linux is expecting a USB joystick to have analog axes, GP Wiz does not. So I'm finding a few things about mapping the axes to keypresses. . .but I'm tired and going to bed.

I used the keywiz 40 (keyboard encoder instead of gamepad) and it work really well
