Check out my Instructable on my portable arcade and media player. I took apart an old laptop and used it to build a 'thingy' that is both a PiPlay arcade and XBMC media center. It has a remote control, 2 Bluetooth joysticks and can either plug into any TV via HDMI or to the laptops old LCD. Oh and best part it runs all the components off one power supply (this was the hardest part for me).
