I build a bar top for 2 palyers thanks to xin-mo controllers. Piplay version 0.8 and mame4all (I tried also advmame but it's to slow with some roms....). I mapped both joysticks and all buttons with the piplay configurator (tab from the menu screen > all emulators): everything works well; then, in mame4all, player 1 joysticks and its buttons works well but no signal from the 2nd joystick and buttons. I tried also to map the 2nd joystick and buttons into the mame config screen (tab) but the 2nd joystick and buttons don't send any signal. Any suggestion to map the 2nd player in mame4all? Thanks!
Try my release of mame4all which comes with raspicade https://github.com/ian57/Raspicade-mame4all-xinmo. It was modified espacially to support 2 players with xinmo. Be careful, there is problem with xinmo with the last Pi 2. If you use Pi B512, or B+ it is ok.
Before your answer I tried this solution with a new kernel and it works with piplay 0.8 beta 8! http://blog.petrockblock.com/forums/topic/autofire-on-the-axis/#post-87758 I can map both joysticks, 6+6 buttons, player 1 and payer 2 starts and coin 1 (for coin 2 button I use the same connection) and the esc button; i would like to configure the pause button but no one xin-mo connections works. I'll try also your raspicade realese. Thank you ian57.
Hi, thanks for the feedback... it will be useful to upgrade may distro to Pi2. I used Adafruit kernel o matic to make my own kernel with the xinmo path. It works like a charm.
