Some SNES roms work some don't

So I have tried multiple scenarios with all the same result "Not Working". I installed the latest PiPlay OS and copied over my roms. I am able to play roms such as goof troop and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. However, I am unable to play Super Mario Brothers, Kirby and a few other types of roms. I have downloaded the same rom from multiple different sites to no avail. I have even dropped down to PiPlay OS 7.10 still will not work. I am using a class 6 sdhc card. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hmm... try overclocking and setting your gpu ram split to something like 128? I can confirm that both super mario world and kirby both can play on it (I have tested both on my system)
