I use an original NES-controller to play NES-games. I would like to set a combination of my select + start button to exit the emulator. Is that possible? If so, how should i do that? (Currently i can't exit it all, except rebooting the pi...)
unfortunately, no. We are working to find a copy of the source code, so that we can change this. I'm not sure why, but for some reason they wrote the original emulator so that exit can only be mapped to keyboard keys (I think that by default, it's f10)
The only sort of Solution that i have come across to actually exit the FCEUX Emulator in the current PiPlay Firmware is to go into the Cheat Menu which is the F1 Button on your Keyboard.
Then Press Ctrl Alt Del with these buttons pressed down it exits the Emulator. But when exiting the Emulator it reboots the whole PiPlay.
It may be a temp fix but its all that I can figure out on such short notice without going into configurations.
I hope that this has helped anyone that likes to use the FCEUX Emulator on PiPlay current firmware.
