Hiya,
I have a set of Roms that i have run through my mame already (so they all have settings saved in mame4all somewhere..) and I am loathe to go through them all again to set cocktail mode and ensure the controls are joystick compatible (i fear i overwrote some to fit my keyboard during testing).

Im not sure where this data is stored or what it looked like (plain text perchance..?)
Is there a tool for this or a greppy, replace text technique for doing this?!

Also i would love to level the hiscore.dat to ZZZ 000pts but im not sure what the syntax is (hex?) that i should overwrite it with.
I think its just the last two xx:xx parts but i dont know!
