PiPlay beta 4 - how to configure network manualy?

Hello

How can i set up network manualy?
I editec /etc/config/network/interfaces and add
auto lo eth 0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.7
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1

and route shows no routes after restart ...
To set up i had to run rom scrapper - after it failed to download anything i got into shell. Is there other way?

i would just go in to raspbian and set up the network.

I just go into the desktop environment within Raspbian whenever I set up the network.

At the first line it looks like you have a space between "eth" and "0". You need to put them together "eth0"
