Mame4all error on start
I think MAME4All wasn't properly installed. I had this issue if I tried to install MAME before expanding the file system. Basically, if you install MAME before you expand the filesystem, there isn't enough room to load the emulator, but …

Does it crash when you press the A button? Is there a way to have a 2 button command exit the game back to PiPlay, for instance, can you set it so if you press the start and select buttons it exists the game?

Joysticks, buttons and encoder
I got the Ipac VE. Only $37 delivered. I'm building a MAME only cabinet so not being able to customize the inputs was fine by me. I can live with the default MAME settings. With my limited testing, it seems like a brainless install.

Thanks for the offer. I'll give this a shot, but won't get around to it until the weekend.

Audio Issues in vertical mode
Sure, if you can give me the 3 files, I'll take them and try them out. Not sure how to share the whole image, but let me think about how to do that.

Audio Issues in vertical mode
You are certainly more advanced than me at this! It'll take me a while to digest all that and I may need some hand holding if I go that route. As another experiment, I tried running vertical with RetroPie (which as far as I know uses MAME4ALL…

No sound on any ROM [PI B+]
Audio has been the BIGGEST issue I have had getting things working. My first question to you is whether you are getting any sound at all? When you are in the Pi Main Menu where you can select which emulator you are going to use as you move around …

Audio Issues in vertical mode
At least I'm not the only one having this issue!. I confirmed today that I have the same issue whether the audio comes out of the 3.5mm jack or HDMI. My last ditch effort to fix this is a USB Sound Card I just ordered. Interesting that you a…

Audio issue and my solution
It may be just an issue with the particular adaptor I am using. But just forcing audio to HDMI through raspi-config did not work by itself. I tried it dozens of times with PiPlay, RetroPie and just a plain Raspbian distro. The adaptor made the Pi t…

Rotation
Yep, running PiPlay on startup and I used the config.txt file to rotate the screen. I'll try bumping the overclock up, just didn't want to burn out my Pi! Is there a way to actually determine what frame rate the system is running at?

Rotation
I'm working on a vertical cocktail project and also needing to rotate the screen. Things were really running poorly when I rotated, but then I increased the GPU Mem to 256 and overclocked it to 900. Seemed to run better. How can you tell what…
