NOOB joystick question
Right now the menu only works with the keyboard. Believe me, joysticks and joystick support are at the top of my list.

BIOS and Controller Setup in Quick Start Guide?
BIOS related items and such aren't allowed to be talked about because those items, like rom files, can get the community in trouble. The controller setup is a valid point, and its something I'm trying to make easier in the next version.

Spontaneous blinking when I run Neogeo roms in FBA
ive noticed this happening as well on one of my hdmi monitors. the hdmi_boost setting in the /boot/config.txt may need to be raised.

So, what probably happened is that that isn't the proper rom name that MAME is looking for. That is about as much as I can tell you because we can't talk about where or how to get rom files.

there should be individual folders in the roms directory for each emulator. So for neogeo, put it in the gngeo / neo geo folder. For MAME4ALL, put it in the mame4all folder. From the PiMAME menu, you would then load that specific emulator, like g…

yes. in menu.py on line 115 you will see: if x == ord('\n'): x = ord('c') \n and c are the two command keys in menu.py change \n to whatever you want to be your new "enter" key.
