[DEFERRED] mame4all configuration (how to configure "skiplines")

Hi,
Is there any configuration documentation about the mame4all embedded in the latest (0.7) pimame release ?
I'm more specifically interested in activating the "scanlines" option.
I've tried playing with the "skiplines" option in mame.cfg with no success :-(
If not supported, does it sound a reasonable "request for change" ? -
