Remapping - Xbox 360 controller

So i got the Pi running PiMAME surprisingly well. The problem is that when i play SNES and NES games, the controller is mapped really weirdly, does anyone have a handy guide to remapping the X360 controller for the SNES & NES Emulator?

Allright, so i fixed it for the SNES by changing the cfg file in pimame_files/pisnes/snes9x.cfg
But! how do i go about doing the same thing for the NES? Can't seem to find any configuration files anywhere in emulators/ -
Any chance you can post your snes9x.cfg file? Having issues remapping not sure on what to do.
