update not working

    I am trying to update piplay using the standard update piplay icon in the menu (it said there was a new version available.
    When the update reaches Receiving updates, it gets very slow and comes to a halt...

    Update now gets through but in the piplay menu, new version available stays there...
    If I choose update piplay from the menu, the same update proces seems to start just like the previous update proces...
    I also get the message waiting for dbus address to appear over and over...

    type this in command line:

    nano /home/pi/piplay/version

    if you are up to date, it should simply say '11'

    I used to get the dbus message. I believe that it has to do with the splash screen. I think that it needs to be delayed a bit. I don't remember all of the specifics.
