Xbox 360 controller sync issue

    I'm stumped. I've read tons of stuff but nothing works. The XBOX 360 dongle is connected, the controller semi works.

    It will allow me to use the joystick for the PiPlay menu's but the 4 led's on the controller are blinking. How do I get the controller to sync up?

    I'm know I'm missing something simple but after 3 days, I'm reaching out for help.

    I used this command:

    sudo xboxdrv --wid 0 -s -l 0 --dpad-as-button --deadzone 12000

    and the controller sync's but then doesn't work in PiPlay.

    I watched this video...


    The controller registers when I do a sudo xboxdrv but when I go in to PiPlay, nothing. even though it shows it's sync'd. Grrrr...
