What games are expected to work?

Hi there - I have the latest image working fine on my R-Pi - it's great!

Out of the 10 or so ROM's I have only one, Ms Pacman, works. 1943 in any version comes up with an error saying it's missing files and space invaders has a black screen.

Is that normal, do I just have bad ROM's?

What emulator are you trying to make this work on ?

I use Mame4all and have 2000+ rom working fine on it.

Thanks - I'll have another go (Christmas is getting closer!!) I wasn't aware of the different mame versions - er, how do you know what mame version a rom is?
