Just Updated/MAME not installing

Hi there -
I finally updated my PiPlay after a long time. Didn't come with MAME, which is the main reason I'm using PiPLAY - specifically MAME4ALL. I tried going through the process of clicking and installing MAME from the main menu (twice) but I must be missing a step because there is no icon with MAME after I do it. I searched the forums, but had no luck finding this issue. Any help out there? Thanks! -
Nope. I went it to the desktop and checked. ROMs are all there in their folders in MAME4ALL from before I updated it. But it's weird because I have a few ROMs from NES and they aren't showing up when I try to open that emulator. Any other ideas, anyone?!?!
