I found .advance in $HOME, and last time I checked it, it was empty.
I have problems with the configuration of the width of the display. You see, I have rotated the display 270 degrees (display_rotate=3 in /boot/config.txt), to play for example Gun Smoke in TATE. The Mame interface looks good and fills up the screen, but when a game have been picked (in this case, Gun Smoke), the picture shows like a small line. Can I create a config-file for each particular game?
on the command line, if you type: ls ~/.advance there should be a bunch of files. If you don't have any files there, then something might be wrong with your install. Once I know if you have any files there, I can assist more.
I'm home now and had some time over to spend for Raspberry Pi. Yes, I saw now that .advance (you just have to type in "ls -a" in your home directory, to list all files, include .*-files), contained some excellent files. Don't know how I could miss that before. Big thanks anyway. Don't have time right now to read and try different setups, but will write back when I have, in case more ppl have their thoughts on setting up something similar.
