[SOLVED] AdvanceMame Game Inputs/Control Settings NOT Saving

    Hey all!

    I finally got almost everything working, including my GPIO joystick (which was a pain!). But the problem I am having right now is that every time I load a game I have to manually reset the inputs, I really don't want to have to do that, is there a way to say my input/control settings or a config I can modify so that I don't have to set them up each and every time I launch a new game? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

    Are you selecting 'Save for this game' in the AdvanceMAME menu after setting the controls?

    I saw that option under video and thought it applied only to video?

    Tried anyways, did not work

    Try making the changes in advmame.rc

    Will do, where is that file located? (new to the PiMAME, not so new to linux)

    No problem. Off the top of my head it's located at .advance\advmame.rc

    Uninstalled PiMame

    Reinstalled PiMame

    Sudo python menu.py

    Exit menu

    Python menu.py

    Now saving when changed in game....weird
