GBA Controls

Does anyone know how to configure controls for Game Boy Advance? I have made changes to the keys.txt file but it seems to have no effect. Perhaps I'm altering the wrong file.

I've put a USB-Controller into the RasPi and it works with the psx-emulator.
When I start the gba-simulation, I can't choose a controller (F10). What's the problem ?
